World Fisheries Day Event

On November 21st, World Fisheries Day is celebrated. To raise awareness of the state of the world's fisheries and ecosystems, and as part of the presentations day for students enrolled in Marine Environmental Issues (ENSC307), I have organised a day-long event in collaboration with the Society for Conservation Biology (Kingston Chapter) to be held on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 2013 (10 am to 6 pm) in the Atrium here at Queen's University. The free event is open to the public and includes seminars, poster presentations, guest lectures, and displays. We wanted to invite the members of our departments - everyone is welcome. We have some additional room available for displays also if anyone is interested.

Information on the event and the program can be found at:

and on Facebook: Event - World Fisheries Day - Queen's University.

I can be contacted in case of questions or comments.
Thanks so much!
Gaby
