Dr. Hongliang WangDr. Hongliang Wang, Postdoctoral Fellow

​Hongliang Wang received his B.Sc. degree from Anhui University of Science and Technology, China in 2004, and received Ph.D. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2011.  Dr. Wang worked as an Electrical Engineer at Zhejiang Hengdian Thermal Power Plant, China from 2004 to 2005; a Senior System Engineer at Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd, China from 2011 to 2013. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Queen’s University from May, 2013. His research interests include control for grid-connected inverter, UPS and micro-grids application; multilevel topology and modulation; filter optimization; resonant converter and LED drivers. He is the holder of 37 China Patents and 7 pending US patents and has published over 30 journal and conference papers. Dr. Wang serves as a member of China Power Supply Society (CPSS) Technical Committee on Renewable Energy Power Conversion from 2013, and a member of CPSS Technical Committee on Standardization from 2014.
