The Information and Communications Working Group is part of the larger Accessibility Framework within Queen's University. This group will act as a hands-on working group, performing environmental scans specific to the accessibility level of information and communications at Queen's University. The purpose of these environmental scans will be to identify accessibility issues and gaps at Queen's University relating to the “Information and Communications Standards” within the “Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation” (IASR), part of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). In addition to reporting issues and gaps to the Operational Review Committee (ORC), this working group may also take on small projects to help address accessibility gaps/issues identified within the environmental scans.
