A new vision for the Human Rights and Equity Office at Queen’s

$1000 prize for the winner!

As many of you may have heard, the Human Rights Office and Equity Office have recently merged into one unit, the Human Rights and Equity Office (HREO). In celebration, we are revamping our online presence with the creation of a new website. The integration of our offices wouldn’t be complete without a logo that reflects the values that we hold so deeply.

Statement on March 5th "Liberty Lecture"

Information about the upcoming lecture by University of Toronto psychology professor Jordan Peterson, entitled “The Rising Tide of Compelled Speech in Canada”:

The March 5th lecture was organized by Professor Bruce Pardy (Law), and is the inaugural lecture in the “Piasetzki Liberty Lecture” series, funded by a faculty of law alumnus, Gregory Piasetzki (LLB 1980). The event has been reviewed by the Queen’s Event Assessment Team and has been approved to proceed. Campus Security will ensure appropriate security measures are in place to safeguard event attendees.
