The Focus on Graduate Supervision program is a one-day event that provides theoretical and practical support for faculty with respect to graduate supervision at Queen's. The program is offered on a regular basis through collaboration between the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS). The day includes presentations, panels and interactive activities that focus on a variety of essential issues, and is intended to:

• Promote conversation about graduate supervision among faculty members
• Encourage the exchange of ideas and practices related to graduate supervision
• Encourage faculty members to explore alternatives to traditional graduate supervision practices
• Enable faculty members to serve as resources for one another
