Abstract:
Climate change is a fact in our daily lives. Ontario recognizes the need to take immediate action and develop new climate policy. With the release of Ontario’s Climate Change Action Plan, the launch of its Cap and Trade program and Strategy for a Waste-Free Ontario, the province is taking bold action to address climate change head-on.
This discussion will focus on how we work with our partners across government, jurisdictions within Canada and around the globe, industry and Indigenous Communities to set ambitious climate targets and develop a new generation of climate policy models.
