Description:

About the Speaker: Omer Aziz is a Policy Advisor to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has published essays and articles in the New York Times, Washington Post, New Republic, The Atlantic, and The Globe and Mail, and was previously a legal clerk at the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria in Geneva. He holds an Honours BA from Queen’s University, where he was awarded the Medal in Political Studies, an MPhil in International Relations from Cambridge, where he was a Cambridge Trust Scholar and the university’s inaugural Pitt Scholar, and a JD from Yale Law School.
