Supporting Shared Decision Making in Health Systems

On Tuesday, December 12, Dr. Janet Jull will deliver a presentation entitled, Supporting Shared Decision Making in Health Systems: The development of a peer support shared decision making strategy by and with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people”.  The presentation will take place from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in the LDA Building, Room 008.

Dr. Jull is trained as an occupational therapist and has worked in many different settings across Canada, including the Arctic. Janet has clinical, health policy and management experience, and has been particularly interested in patient-centred care, and with research experience conducted in collaboration with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities. Janet is currently a CIHR-funded post-doctoral research fellow at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Integrated Knowledge Translation Research Network and contributor to groups focused on health equity. (More information on the IKTR Network is available here:

Dr. Jull is a candidate for a tenure track faculty position in the Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership Program at Queen's School of Rehabilitation Therapy.
