About Queen's People Search

Finding Students: Only students registered in current courses may be listed. Although e-mail is available to all students, not all students choose to make use of it. Student e-mail addresses can be found only if a student has given permission for publication. All students are unlisted over the summer. This directory does not contain student telephone numbers.

Mass Mailing: The telephone and e-mail directory information may not be used for mass mailing or uninvited solicitations. For more information, read the Mass E-mail Communication policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a student. Why am I not listed?

Listing of e-mail addresses is controlled by a permission indication we receive from the Student Records system. During September registration you can give this permission, but at other times of the year you can get it changed only by visiting the Registrar's office in Gordon Hall.

Only students registered in current courses are listed. From the data we get from the Registrar, we can't tell the difference between a student who has withdrawn and one who will be returning in the fall. To avoid listing the former and creating false expectations, all are unlisted over the summer.

I am a faculty or staff member. How can I correct my listing?

To correct a telephone number, ask your ITAdmin Representative (Telecom) to have Telecommunications Services update your listing.

To correct a department, contact Human Resources. The lists are constructed by a program from the appointments recorded by Human Resources.

To correct an e-mail address, use the E-mail Correction Form.
