What are the Fees for Permanent Resident Application? 

There are several fees you and your family members have to pay to apply for Permanent Residence.

The fees for the Permanent Resident application are paid in two stages:

1)     The  Application  for Visa Fee

2)     The Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Calculate the fees on the CIC web site.

 If you applying under the Provincial Nominee Program, an additional fee of $1500 is payable to the Province of Ontario.

Fees for medical exams:

If taken in Kingston or Ottawa, medical exams cost approximately $200 per person, plus $60 lab fees. You must see a physician on Canada's list of Designated Medical Practitioners. Contact the Faculty Recruitment and Support office for recommended physicians.
