How to Apply to Film and Media

Thinking about applying to Queen's University for Film and Media, well here is what you need to know:

1. All our degree programs start in second year.

2. To get into our programs all students must apply to the Faculty of Arts and Science and take FILM 110 (or FILM 104 and FILM 106 or BISC 100 - all offered at the Bader International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle in Sussex, England).

3. Please contact the Faculty of Arts and Science for information on applications and requirements and the Registrar for registration fees.

4. Depending on their grade in FILM 110 and their GPA, students can declare Film and Media as their concentration at the end of first year. Please see Programs for more information on the specific programs Film and Media offers.

5. Automatic acceptance into the Major and Medial programs requires a B+ in FILM 110 and a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.8. For the Minor and General programs you need B in FILM 110 and a GPA of 2.7. Please Film and Media Plan Thresholds for more information.
