Research Accounting is pleased to offer a new training module to the Queen’s research community called “Research Accounting 101”. This workshop is made up of two components which are specific to research. The first part of the session will provide a general overview on the various phases of the life of a research project. This part of the training session will cover various topics including project establishment, expense eligibility, financial reporting, audits and monitoring visits, as well as what is required at the end of a project. The second part of the workshop will focus on providing information about the different types of transactions that flow through research projects.
