The University provides most operating departments with a basic level of service and may fund system upgrades that result in improved efficiency. A few central service departments incur monthly operating charges because of their unique funding arrangements.
Requests for additional services should be referred to the appropriate Dean or Vice Principal together with supporting documentation detailing staffing levels and/or projected efficiency benefits. All requests will be reviewed by Resources Planning. Departments will be billed for installation costs only.
Departments can always pay for additional services from departmental funds.
In this case, departments will be billed for installation costs and monthly equipment rental.
