Access Eligibility and Training

A person’s administrative role will determine what system access and training they are eligible to request. 

A Research Administrator (RA) responsible for monitoring and reconciling research projects is eligible to request the following system access and training: 

  • PeopleSoft Journal Entry 
  • PeopleSoft Procurement Requestor and Receiver
  • Research Accounting 101
  • Finance 201
  • Research Statement of Operations Report

A Departmental Administrator (DA) responsible for monitoring and reconciling all funds within their department is eligible to request the following system access and training:  Finance 101

A Principal Investigator (PI) and designate (person authorized by PI) can view the ‘Research Statement of Operations’ report(s) once logged in to the portal.  Project IDs will populate under a heading called ‘Research Projects’.  The report does not require access to PeopleSoft.  To learn how to interpret the report, it is recommended that the PI register to attend the ‘Research Statement of Operations’ workshop offered by Research Accounting, Financial Services.
