Communications Task Force

Background

Internal communication is identified as a key institutional priority.  In September 2008, a task force comprised of senior administrators was convened to discuss communications issues at Queen’s. In developing this initial report, the task force reviewed the purpose of internal communications, their current status, best practices and challenges.

The Communications Task Force will be the only task force meeting on an ongoing basis, beyond the 2008/2009 academic year.  Its mandate in the fall was to take account of the current state of communications at Queen’s. Over the fall, the task force was also involved in directly overseeing several operational communications projects.
