With renewed inclement weather conditions, crews from Physical Plant Services (PPS) have been working to clear walkways across the Queen’s campus.

“PPS takes its responsibility for safe access across campus very seriously,” said Donna Janiec, Acting Associate Vice-Principal (Facilities). “The significant ice and snow build-up over the holidays created a difficult situation, and PPS staff have been working diligently to clear and salt sidewalks and walkways to ensure they are safe for pedestrians.”

Ms. Janiec encourages anyone in the Queen’s community who sees unsafe walkway conditions to call FIXIT at ext. 77301 or email fixit@queensu.ca.
