Available Expert - Census of Population release set for tomorrow

Tuesday, August 1, 2017

Queen’s University census expert Mark Rosenberg is available to comment on the third 2016 Census of Population release focusing on families, households, marital status and language. As Canada marks its 150th anniversary, Statistics Canada will continue to share its year-long story of the country and the people, based on the census results.

The Families, households and marital status release will provide data on the recent changes in Canadian households and families from a variety of perspectives at the national, provincial, territorial and sub-provincial levels.

The Language release will examine the languages Canadians speak and present results at the national, provincial and territorial levels, as well as for some large census metropolitan areas.

Please note Dr. Rosenberg is available today (Tuesday) but has limited availability tomorrow (Wednesday).
