The university is open today. Contractors and PPS grounds crews have been on campus salting and sanding throughout the night. While conditions on campus have improved with the rise in temperature, some areas may still be icy. Please travel safely.

Media Advisory - Equity & Human Rights Tri-Awards

KINGSTON - Media are invited to attend the Queen’s University Equity & Human Rights Tri-Awards ceremony, taking place on Monday, February 27. In keeping with the spirit of the university’s 175th anniversary, this year's recipients focus on alumni, graduate or undergraduate students, staff or faculty who have previously worked at Queen’s.

The award recipients will take part in a panel discussion as part of the ceremony. A media availability with the recipients will be held immediately following the award ceremony.

What: The Tri-awards in the areas of Employment Equity, Human Rights and Accessibility, presented by the Equity and Human Rights Offices.

Where: Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Atrium (36 University Ave)

When: Monday, February 27, from 2:30 – 4:30 pm (Media availability to take place during reception beginning at 4 pm).

Notes: Media are requested to RSVP by end of day on Friday, February 24.
