It was time to recognize the accomplishments of Queen’s researchers on Wednesday, Sept. 21 as the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) hosted the Celebration of Research Excellence.

The event, held at the Alan G. Green Fireplace Reading Room in Stauffer Library, celebrated 2015 and 2016 scholars who have been recipients of research prizes, first-time federal and provincial funding, QROFs, and other forms of research recognition.

Attendees heard from Vice-Principal (Research) Steven Liss and Deputy Provost Teri Shearer as well as winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics Arthur McDonald.
