Flags on campus have been lowered for Muriel Faye Derrick, a retired member of the Department of Psychology. Dr. Derrick died on Friday, Nov. 11, at Trillium Retirement and Care Community in Kingston.

A graduate of Queen’s, she returned to work as a clinical supervisor in the Department of Psychology for over 20 years, and consulted at the Quinte Mohawk School, an area of special interest to her.

On her retirement, she volunteered at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

At Dr. Derrick’s request, there will be no funeral service, but her family welcome donations in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, via reidfuneralhome.com.
