They came from all over campus for a chance to cap off the academic year, and to gather with colleagues before many begin their summer holidays.

Undeterred by the wet weather, hundreds of employees were treated to the annual Summer Barbecue at Grant Hall on Friday, where they dug into an excellent spread prepared by Queen’s Hospitality Services.

The Summer BBQ has been an annual tradition at Queen’s as both a social opportunity, and a chance to collect non-perishable food donations for the Alma Mater Society (AMS) food bank.
