The Human Resources Department welcomed many Queen’s managers to Goodes Hall on May 6 for the inaugural HR Summit. Jana Raver, associate professor and the E. Marie Shantz Faculty Fellow of Organizational Behaviour, led a lively discussion about the ways managers can create a respectful work environment. The summit also included a number of breakout sessions on different aspects of fostering a healthy and thriving workplace. During the morning coffee break, managers interacted and networked with Queen’s HR experts. In addition to the summit, HR continues to offer customized training sessions for managers throughout the year. Email hrelr@queensu.ca for more information.
