UPDATE: Water shutdown for Dupuis Hall

FINAL UPDATE: Water service has been restored to Dupuis Hall as of 3:35 pm this afternoon (Thursday, Dec. 8).

UPDATED NOTICE: A water shutdown is currently in progress at Dupuis Hall due to a recurrence of the leak from the building’s hot water recirculation line. Repair work is expected to take approximately 2-3 hours. The PPS trades working on this repair will contact the Emergency Report Centre to advise when water has been restored to the building.

During the shutdown period, there will be no domestic hot or cold water available for hand washing, flushing toilets, safety showers, eye wash stations or lab equipment. There is a separate water feed to the standpipe system, so there are no fire safety implications arising from this work.

The shutdown originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 9 between 8 am and noon will no longer be required as a result of this ongoing repair work.
