Grad Student Receives Multiple Awards

Congratulations to MASc student, Malcolm MacDougall, who has recently received a number of awards. Malcolm's thesis research looks at the impact of isostatic rebound offshore Newfoundland since the last glacial maximum and whether this caused any tilting or fluid migration among hydrocarbon reservoirs.

Malcolm is the recipient of the following awards:

  • 2018 Regional Graduate Student Scholarship (Ontario Region) - Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG)
  • 2018 KEGS Foundation Scholarship - Canadian Exploration Geophysics Society (KEGS)
  • 2018-2019 Ontario Graduate Scholarship - Queen's

He has also been nominated for the 2018 Bill Nickerson Education Award, Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG).
