Congratulations are due Chris Yakymchuk who has won the Geological Association of Canada, Jack Henderson Award for best MSc thesis entitled “Tectonometamorphic evolution of the Greater Himalyan Sequence, Karnali Valley, Western Nepal”. This is the third time in the past 6 years that students from the Queen’s Tectonics Research Lab have won this award. Chris joins past winners Dawn Kellett (2006) and Kyle Larson (2009). Proud supervisor is Laurent Godin.
