Queen's University Resources for Teaching Assistants
The Centre for Teaching and Learning offers support to graduate students in many forms.
Departmental Workshop for Teaching Assistants
A departmental workshop for Teaching Assistants is held each year in the week before the beginning of classes in September. Students holding a Teaching Assistantship in either the fall or the winter term are expected to participate in this workshop.
LIBRARY ASSISTANCE
Nathalie Soini is the Program's liaison librarian. She will provide tips for identifying and searching resources in your subject area (reference tools, books, articles, e-journal, etc.), as well as other resources such as RefWorks. About Nathalie: She is fluent in German. She has lived and studied in Germany for two years. While in Germany, she studied at the Goethe-Institut and Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg. She also has a B.A in German/Spanish from Brock University, a Spanish M.A. from the University of Toronto and a Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario.
