The former Department of German offered both M.A. and Ph.D degrees in German language and literature. Our Programs were characterized by strong mentorship and teaching opportunities, support for professionalism, minority perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches. The Department was also known for its friendly atmosphere and small class sizes. The combination of excellent academic and social opportunities created a dynamic learning environment.
