Please address any questions about the course to Dr. Monika Holzschuh Sator.

Course Content

This course is a continuation of GRMN-206*, GRMN-207* and GRMN-306*. These courses are not prerequisites.
GRMN 307* is designed for students at the intermediate-advanced level (f.ex. three years of German language instruction, or 2 years of university German language courses plus 1 year business German or a 1-year literature course or the equivalent - please talk to the course coordinator).
GRMN 306*/307* aims at developing communicative competence in the specialized field of business, commerce and industry, and German in the workplace.
We will work on expanding vocabulary, deepening listening and reading comprehension skills, and practice business-related speaking activities.
GRMN-307* also endeavours to cultivate cross-cultural awareness.
A further goal is to prepare students for the internationally recognized business German exam Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf, which students can write here at Queen's at the end of the winter semester.
