Queen's University SitemapBader Chairs in Southern and Northern Baroque Art
The Chair in Southern Baroque Art, currently vacant, supports teaching and research of art of the Italian Baroque period and its influence abroad, complementing the work of Dr Stephanie Dickey, the Bader Chair in Northern Baroque Art.
These two positions were endowed by Queen's benefactors Alfred and Isabel Bader.
The Chairs, in combination with the collection of related art in the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, ensure that undergraduate and graduate teaching and research in this field continue to meet the highest of standards.
