The Bader Chair in Organic Chemistry, created through the generosity of Dr. Alfred Bader has allowed the department to build on its strengths of innovative research and outstanding faculty by attracting world-class chemist, Dr. Victor Snieckus.
A leading scholar, with an international reputation, Dr. Snieckus is an expert in synthetic methodology (the construction of molecules). His discoveries are being used by companies to produce pharmaceuticals of the future.
