Brian Frank
This unique Chair held in the Faculty of Applied Science by Dr Brian Frank was established through the generosity and creativity of E.I. DuPont.
The Chair has a mandate to teach and conduct research in order to facilitate a strategy of integrated learning across the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and to place Queen's on the leading edge of engineering education.
Brian Frank is the second holder of the DuPont Canada Chair in Engineering Education. He supports faculty-wide education development, and is involved in national initiatives including the EGAD Project and the Canadian Engineering Education Association. Engineering education interests include:
- student assessment
- model eliciting activities
- design and professional skill development
