Queen's University has wonderful alumni and friends all over the world who share in the commitment to build a great University. You do not have to live in Canada to direct your support to Queen's; many countries offer favourable tax treatment for such gifts!
Residents of countries outside of the United States and Great Britain should contact their lawyer or our Gift Planning team for advice.
U.S. based alumni and relatives can make donations directly to the University under the Canada-United States Income Tax Convention. Gifts will be substantiated by a letter from Queen's. This is important for people who itemize donations on their US income tax returns.
All other American citizens or residents as well as corporations, foundations and trusts should direct their gifts to the US Foundation for Queen's University at Kingston (Employer ID 52-1960422). The US Foundation for Queen's is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization recognized under the US Internal Revenue Code.
