Queen's Annual Appeal
Did you know Queen's SKHS students have taught at and learned from hosting 21 years of Winter Adapted Games?
On January 29, 2011, the 21st Annual Winter Adapted Games (aka 'WAG') took place on Queen's Campus.
This popular community outreach event is co-hosted by students in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies and the School of Rehabilitation Therapy. Through this event, students like Jenn have the opportunity to work with children with physical disabilities – a group that frequently faces barriers to participation.
"My involvement with WAG has been inspiring," Jenn says. "I now find myself striving to be more aware of the needs of every individual and thoughtful of ways to ensure their inclusion in all activities."
