Queen's Annual Appeal
Did you know Queen's team was golden at the first annual Provincial Health Care Team Challenge?
Justin Brooks, PT'10, Krista Sawadski, OT'10 and their medicine, nursing, psychology and x-ray technology colleagues took first place at the first annual Provincial Health Care Team Challenge in 2010.
With three weeks to prepare, teams develop and present a collaborative plan of care for a virtual patient.
"The judges commented on our patient-centred approach and that our team dynamics worked so well that they actually felt a part of our team," says Krista, "and that our respect for each other was evident in our practice."
The 2011 Challenge will be held in March.
