Welcome to Disability Services
If you have received academic accommodations at a previous post-secondary institution due to a documented disability, please contact Queen's Disability Services Office to discuss your accommodation needs.
We offer services and supports directly tailored to your needs to assist you in pursuing your university education.
A Student Handbook is available for those quick reminders of some of the resources that are available to you. Good luck with your future pursuits! We hope that you enjoy your time at Queen's!
The mission of the Disability Services Group, in partnership with faculty, staff and students, is to promote educational equity for students with disabilities, and to assist those students in pursuing a university education.
The Disability Services Group is comprised of service providers uniquely qualified to recommend and provide appropriate services to students with specific disabilities.
We assist students by...
- facilitating access to information, services, space and activities;
- promoting autonomy
- providing advocacy and support;
- recommending accommodations; and
- educating the Queen's community about the ways in which the above objectives may be supported and empowered.
Returning Students: Please check back here early in August when our online registration process will open. Meanwhile, if you wish to make an appointment with your advisor in advance of the coming year, please email us at email@example.com or call 613-533-6467
