The Post-secondary Accessibility Consulting Team is pilot project to develop an information and problem-solving resource offering a range of disability-related consultation services. Information is available regarding accommodation, rights and responsibilities, strategies and expectations for students with disabilities in post-secondary education. Confidential consultation by phone or in person and informal dispute resolution services are offered. Questions requiring larger systemic inquiry will be addressed, to obtain more broadly applicable information when needed. Professional review of disability documentation and accommodation requests can be arranged with appropriately trained and experienced team members. Information, comments and opinions expressed by PACT staff are not intended as legal, medical or psychological advice, and do not reflect the position of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, or Queen's University. Information, comments and opinions are those of the participating consultant or team members only. |
