Mike McNair

BA(Hons) History, Queen's University, 2003

Thanks to the encouragement and support of two of my history instructors at Queen's, Stephen Maynard and Robert Shenton, after Queen's I undertook graduate studies in Global Economic History at the London School of Economics.
I stayed in London and began my career as an investment banker with CIBC World Markets' European M&A team.  I then continued my graduate studies at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, before moving to Ottawa to serve two Leaders of the Official Opposition in Parliament as a Senior Policy Advisor.  Following a  stint in Toronto as a Manager in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations consulting practice, I have since returned to federal politics, currently serving as Director of Policy, Research and Planning for Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.
