Thanks to the encouragement and support of two of my history instructors at Queen's, Stephen Maynard and Robert Shenton, after Queen's I studied Global Economic History at the London School of Economics. I stayed in London and began my career as an investment banker with CIBC World Markets' European M&A team. I then continued my graduate studies at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, before moving to Ottawa to work for two Leaders of the Opposition as their Senior Policy Advisor on economic and financial affairs - eventually becoming Director of Policy and Director of the Liberal Research Bureau. After four years I left Parliament Hill and am now in Toronto working as a Manager in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations consulting practice.
