Between the Lines, Novel Idea and the History Department are sponsoring a reception to welcome the release of two new books by members of the Department, published by Between the Lines books.
Ian McKay is author of REASONING OTHERWISE: Leftists and the People's Enlightenment in Canada: 1890-1920.
Karen Dubinsky is co-editor, along with Queen's Faculty members Catherine Krull and Susan Lord, and Queen's History PhD Students Sean Mills and Scott Rutherford, of NEW WORLD COMING: The Sixties and the Shaping of Global Consciousness.
Join them on Friday, September 18th, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at The Artel, 205 Sydenham Street, for an event entitled "A Different Take on History: A Kingston affair to celebrate two new Between The Lines history books".
