The book is based on an international conference held at Queen's in 2007, attended by 400 people and organized by an interdisciplinary team of grad students and faculty.The Type Books launch was held Friday 4 September, and was one in a series of launches. New World Coming was also launched in Brattleboro Vermont, Kingston and Montreal, and plans are being made for a launch in Havana Cuba in May 2010.
