Sarah was presented the annual award recently at the Department's holiday party. The award is presented to the Teaching Fellow or Teaching Assistant who is considered to be outstanding and is intended to favour instructors who both inform and inspire their students.
Sarah is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of History. She is in her final year of graduate studies and specializes in 17th Century Anglo Scottish Relations.
Nominated by her students from History 300, Selected Topics: Change and Continuity in Britain and Europe, 1500-1800 she is described as a seminar instructor who goes beyond her duties and is invaluable as both a teacher and mentor. Sarah came to Queen's from the University of Alberta and is under the supervision of Principal Daniel Woolf.
