20 May 2010 Queen's University and Between the Lines Press sponsored the Havana launch of the book New World Coming: The Sixties and the Shaping of Global Consciousness. Four of the book's editors were in attendance: Susan Lord (Film and Media Studies) Karen Dubinsky (Global Development Studies/History), Scott Rutherford (History grad student) and Sean Mills (NYU, former Queen's history student). The event was attended by 37 Queen's students participating in the course, Canadian embassy representatives, and a variety of Cuban scholars and students.
