History Faculty Nominated for Awards

History faculty members Rosanne Currarino, Steven Maynard and Richard Bailey were nominated this past spring for the Frank Knox Award.

Professor Currarino was nominated by her students from her Hist 324-Civil War and the Making of America class, Professor Maynard was nominated by his students from, his first year course, Hist 124-Canada in the World and Professor Bailey was nominated by his students from Hist 121-The Intellectual Origins of the Contemporary West.

The Frank Knox award is the highest honour given to instructors of Queen's by Students and we congratulate our nominees.

Congratulations also goes  to Professor Jamey Carson  who was recently nominated for the Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching by students from his course, HIST 467 "First Nations of North America".
