Diane's research interests include African studies, Zambian political history, issues of gender and feminism, cultural theory, and social justice. Her M.A. History at Queen's is a continuation of her M.ES., where she examined issues of gender and culture in postcolonial Zambia. Her favourite author is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.  She is being supervised by Professor Marc Epprecht.
