About

As a Master's student at Queen's, I hope to explore debates concerning Americanization of Canadian culture in the late sixties and early seventies, expanding on an article I had published in the peer-reviewed journal, SURG: Studies by Undergraduate Researchers at Guelph. I'm also interested in the relationships between media, consumerism, and nationalism that played out in the post-war period. I very much look forward to working with my supervisor, Dr. Jeffrey Brison.

Academic highlights from my time at Guelph include presenting a talk at Laurier's Tri-U Undergraduate History Conference, winning the Michael J.F. Tompkins Scholarship for best upper-year English essay, and spending an absolutely wondrous semester abroad in London, England.
