About

Sonia Dussault is currently pursuing her MA in History under the supervision of Dr. Allan English and is researching topics related to conflict and culture.

She is presently working on the articulation and trial of a new model of the nature of armed conflict which underscores the fact that conduct in war is not universal, but rather culturally-specific and subject to being influenced by an adversary's culture. She is using the North West Rebellion of 1885 and the South African War of 1899-1902 as case study.
