19th Century Irish History and Immigration
B.A. (Honours) History from Queen's University
During the 2013-2014 academic year, I will be researching the campaign Catholic Emancipation and the birth of popular politics in 19th century Ireland under Professor Donald Akenson. I am particularly interested in the pervasive nature of sectarian and religious rivalries in Irish society, how they disseminated in the "new" world, and to what degree.
I graduated in the Spring of 2013 from Queen's, and spend most of my summers playing soldier and getting heatstroke at Fort Henry
During the fall semester I will be TAing History 216, and during the winter semester, 208.
