Blair received her Bachelor of Journalism, or B.J. as it is affectionately called, from Carleton University in 2010. She specialized in arts and culture reporting and has been published by CanWest, Ottawa Life Magazine, and the Canadian Museums Association. Blair has spent the last nine years working at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa, where she discovered her topic for her cognate paper - the world's first flight attendants. She will be working with Karen Dubinsky to examine how these women were portrayed in newspapers and magazines throughout the 1930s.
Blair will be TAing HIST 246 (The Soviet Experiment) and HIST 255 (Renaissance and Reformation Europe.)
