I am interested in both state ideologies and oppositional movements of the North American 1960s and 1970s.  My master's project examined rural back-to-the-land projects in 1970s Ontario.  My PhD research focuses on the construction of a cross-town expressway in 1960s Montreal and the various community-based movements to stop it.  I am entering my third year of the program, studying with Dr. Karen Dubinsky.

In 2013-2014 I will be a teaching fellow for HIST 124: Canada and the World.
