Isabel Wallace is a second-year Queen's University doctoral student of the History of Medicine. Her research interests include medical technologies, North American public health policy, and the relationship between racism and disease in the early Twentieth century. Her dissertation in progress is currently entitled "Sikh Immigrants in British Columbia and California, 1900-1924: Nativism, Government Surveillance and the Veil of Public Health Protection."
