MAJORS: you need 60 units in History: 6 units must be in Canadian history

Year 1: One 100 level history course (6 units) (12 units is permitted)

Year 2: 'Core seminar' (6 units) at the 300-329 level; a selection of 200 level lecture classes (9-12 units worth)

Year 3: One full year (or two half year) upper level seminars (HIST 333-499) (9 units); a selection of 200 level lecture classes (6-9 units worth). Note: some students may choose to take an additional half year upper level seminar (4.5 units)

Year 4: Two full year (or the equivalent in half year) upper level seminars (HIST 333-499) (18 units). One 200 level lecture class (3 units)

MEDIALS: you need 42 units in History: 6 units must be in Canadian history

Year 1: One 100 level history course (6 units) (12 units is permitted)

Year 2: 'Core seminar' (6 units) at the 300-329 level; a couple of 200 level lecture classes (6 units)

Year 3: One full year (or two half year) upper level seminars (HIST 333-499) (9 units); a selection of 200 level lecture classes (3-6 units worth). Note: some students may choose to take only a half year upper level seminar in third year (4.5 units)
